What kind of weather can I expect in Australia?

Australia’s climate varies across the continent, from hot and tropical in the far north to cool and even snowy in the south. Australia’s seasons are the opposite to those in the Northern Hemisphere. Between November and March is the warmer time for most of the country, and the wet season in the tropical north. The Australian winter from June to August is generally mild but can mean snow in the southern mountain regions and dry, sunny days in the northern states. It’s important to protect yourself from the Australian sun with a hat, shirt and SPF30+ sunscreen. For more specific information on weather whilst you will be in Australia, this conversation will be a natural part of our Latitude South trip planning phase.

Besides a valid passport, do I require any other travel documents to travel to Australia?

If you are an American citizen, you are required to have an approved Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) prior to entry into Australia. Latitude South processes client ETA’s as part of our specialist service. If you are not an American citizen, there will be visa requirements; these will depend on your nationality and will be discussed during the Latitude South trip planning phase.

I have various other questions specific to me and my individual trip; who can I contact to discuss these points?
